I'm sure I've seen this topic before, but I can't find it using the search engine. I have the referenced gun and I love it. It shoots like a dream, but feeds like a nightmare. Is anyone aware of a fix for this really annoying problem. Sure would suck if I had to crank another case in for a follow up shot. Thanks for your help.

You will probably have to send this gun to Winchester to get it fixed. Look up their web site and see what they will do for you. When this cartridge first came out there seemed to be some real feeding problems with it. Browning has pretty well licked the problem for thier rifles. Win closed down production before it had the feeding problems completly cured.

One thing I found that helped my win 70 in 25wssm was to make sure the rounds were all the way back in the mag well. If they were too far forward the nose of the bullet would jam against the feeding ramp and the round would require hand manipulation to free it. That said, none of my wssm's, Wins nor Brownings, feed very well. Nature of the beast I'm afraid. Then again, all are accurate enough that they seldom need fast follow-up shots anyway.
