Finally got my new rifle, a Winchester Model 70 long range MB chambered in 22-250. I chose Big Game to work up some loads it burns right there with H380 and not quite as temperature sensitive as H380. For initial sight in and breaking in the barrel I ran 53gr Vmax off the shelf, shoot one round and clean the bore good for ten shots, then 2 shots and a barrel cleaning out to 20 rounds. Then I started my ladder test with 36.5grs of “Big Game” and worked up to 38.2grs For the time being I’m hanging with the 38.2grs shooting a 5/16 group, needless to say I' pleased with the way she shoots. At a later time I may start another test starting at 38.2grs and go up to see if I can get more velocity.
52gr Berger FB Varmint
38.2grs Big Shot
COAL 2.357
24" tube
Rem 9 1/2 primer

On the Big Game how good does the powder meter?
The results looks good, thus far, keep on it I'm sure you will find the exact ticket for it but off to a great start looks like.

I’m trying some in my 22-250 with Bartlein 7.5 barrel and 57 HHT Hammer bullets.need to get to the range.
The powder is very fine ball powder.meters great.
My powder I’m using now is Staball 6.5.I’m getting 3/8 MOA with 5 shots.and it’s consistent and repeatable.
The load is just for Coyotes.need to hunt with monolithic bullets in CA.

It meters very well, I didn't have any problems at all. I use a RCBS chargemaster for most of my rifles, there's something about reading that scale on every load insures me it's throwing the proper charge. There were a couple that threw .1 over but that was it.
