The SX3 is a great gun and very reliable. I shoot a lot of heavy 3 1/2" goose loads and it has always functioned flawless. I have also shot a bit of trap with the gun and it seemed to work fine for that too. I have used it on coyotes with a custom clearview choke with dead coyote loads and heavy shot BB's and it patterns well and knocks them dead. Our last trip to Canada hunting snow geese my family put about two cases each through our 3 SX3's and never had a miss fire. I think you will be happy if you choose to buy one.
