Hi, how is your hunting been going? Seen several of your posts. Thought of contacting you. My email [url=mailto:sdonkey@execpc.com

Coyotebuster, I think you have a good idea on a hunt or at least some line of communication between us. Would be nice to get together to exchange ideas. Pound is north of Green Bay.

I'm all for the hunt. We should have a few of them each year, in different locations around Wisconsin. What do you guys all think?

Your friend.

It`s not the size of the weapon, It`s the force of attack.

There is good public hunting land with coyotes around the Tomah/Warrens area in Central Wisconsin. A few locations that come to mind are the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge and Meadow Valley Wildlife Area. There is also alot of private land in the area (cranberry farmers, etc.) that I'm sure would be no problem getting on for a hunt.

I've also seen alot of of coyotes on Fort McCoy near Tomah/Sparta, but I'm not sure of the hunting restrictions. There is some awesome private hunting land around the Fort that could be targeted for a hunt. Many of the people I've worked with over the years talk about all of the coyotes in the area.

It's been tough hunting this winter due to a lack of snow, but we've managed to take a few calling and tracking/stalking. Had a real good day on Sunday after the blizzard cleared out.

If a hunt doesn't work out, would anyone be interested in getting together for a shoot?
