Wood or Synthetic?

I really like seeing a large portion of the shooting public buy synthetic and laminate stocks....that leaves more of the pretty wood for me.

The climate where you hunt should push the decision one way or the other. I live in a fairly dry climate and have never had any trouble with a wood stock warping. But I have seen climates where I would think twice about a wood stock (Louisiana and southeastern Alaska), just too wet to not consider synthetic.
