My grandpa has been lookin for a while for a new wood stock for his SKS. I've told him to get a synthetic one, but he's old school!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gifDoes anyone know where to get a NEW wood SKS stock?? I've looked everywhere and can't find one!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

Hey Utah, I bought a new SKS 4 years ago, took the wood stock off and put it in the gun cabinet where it has sat untouched since. PM me if interested, If you know what a new one goes for, I'll beat the price and give you a great deal on a mine. I have a folding one now and do not need the wood one. 99

Cheapest SKS you can buy right now (commonly available) is a Yugoslavian. They're heavy but well made. Not chrome lined. Prices will run from $89 for a beater straight from AIM to $150 for a nicer one from a local shop that bought it from AIM for $100.
Norincos go for ~$200 nowadays.
