Worst Gun I Ever Owned!!

Winchester Model 55 .22LR single shot. Its obvious it sucks cause i can't find any info on it. It accurate, just a really poor design where powder hits you in the face because this metal flip cover blew off the top.

Jennings .22 LR semi-auto pistol. Trigger pull that feels like 12 lbs and jams routinely. What was I thinking?

Same thing. Physical proof that disposable guns exist. I got what I paid for.

Sask Coyote, ... I have a Savage 10FLP in .223 Rem., that I have had for almost 7 years. It doesn't have the Accu-Trigger.

This rifle has at least 3000 rounds, HOT!!! rounds, at that, through it, and it will still shoot a .47" 100-yard group.(5 shots).

The quality varies from one to the next, I know, but for me, Savage is the best bargain going.

You wanna see trash, look at the Remmy 710. This thing was made for the once-a-year hunter, "A box of ammo will last me 10 years!", type of person. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

Mine was a Ruger 77VT in .22-250 and was terrible. Best I could get out of it was 1.5"@100. I tried everything...different scopes, different powders, different bullets..you name it I tried it.
The only way I'll buy another Ruger is used and only if I know how it shoots.

Mine was a Henry .22LR. The Action was nice but at 20 paces you were lucky to come within 5 feet of your target! Sent it back twice still shot like a pile of crap!

The second worst was a NEF .243. It was a P.O.S. too!

When I first thought about this question I couldn't think of a gun purchase that I wasn't happy with. Then I remembered back to high school and a used 20 gauge pump I bought from a friend. Don't remember the brand but it was sold thru Coast to Coast stores (his dad owned one). Could not hit a thing with that gun, I always thought the barrel was somehow bent or something. Ended up reselling it to someone and bought a single shot H&R in 12 gauge. With only one shot I got to be pretty good with it. It was a long sucker, 30" barrel I think. Eventually sold it and bought a Ithaca 37 Featherlite.

Benelli Super Black Eagle. Crap Crap Crap. If you have one and like it you are in denile about the price you paid for crap. Just wait and see. I gave mine to a teacher today to go and try it out might have it sold if he does not read PM. 3 1/2 shells are a load of crap as well.

What happened with your SBE that made you so upset? I don't have one yet, but love them. 2 of my waterfowling partners have them and they are blast to shoot. Have never had a jam, or a problem feeding. Should I save my money?

I've never really had a bad one.but I have a remington express super magnum that will not eject short shanked brass! the ejectors hold just fine but I have to use a dowel rod to drive out the spent shell! sent it back to remington authorized gun smiths 3 times! they told me it was cheap loads causing it! so I bought remington short brass and ran through it when the 3rd of those hung I sent it in that way! got no responce they just told me it was fixed which it is not! however it does shoot turkey loads and long brass just fine! so that it all I use it for! I have an old remington auto that eats anything I feed it!

Two really -
Win Model 70 .308 post -64 push feed....it was by far the sloppiest gun ever to exist in rifle form. It must have been training day at Winchester when this thing was built. Ex-wife bought it for me...now they are both gone and I don't miss either one of them.

Rohm 22 lr revolver...it was nearly as dangerous to shoot as it was to be hit with. It spit chunks of lead out either side that had to reduce bullet size by half...should have given it to the same exwife.

lets see why i didnt like the savage.

1. i didnt know that tupperwear made a low quality stock.

2. did i cycle the action or did i rub two pieces of sand paper together?

3. after 50 shots there was more copper in the barrel than the next bullet had.

4. at 100yrds it looked like i was shooting a shot gun not a heavy barreled varmint rifle.

5. they look cheap feel cheap and shoot cheap

to be fair ive shot 4 different savages and only one lived up to the hype but it was as ugly as sin.

now you fin gentlemen know were i stand on savage rifles.

Well, I didn't own it exactly, but that M-60 I carried in the Corps. Heavy as a wet dog. And every time we'd have a live-fire the dang thing would run outta bullets.

No matter how many belts they'd give me, the sucker just kept runnin' dry.

skb, I see you are a fellow member of the 'heman woman haters club'. Your post cracked me up. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

its not the gun its the shooter

3 different scopes alot of load development and out shooting the savage with my 7mm the same day. Rifle or shooter?

rifle.

PS the rem 597 wasnt worth it aswell but better than a savage.

That's an easy question...had a Ruger Ranch Rifle for 3 days. What a piece of $&%t!!! Finally worked it down to 8" groups at 100 yards.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif If you wanted to shoot a can...you would have to stick it over the barrel. It would have made a good barn hunting rifle as long as you didn't push your shots over 50 yards... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
