I wasn't familiar with the WTO but did a search and watch the video. I personally don't like the screw used to tighten the lug sticking up above the action. It may or may not be a problem with mounting optics. Its a concept but not sure if I would use it. You know people that are using it and seems no one on here is that familiar with it. Maybe you should be asking them.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that’s the case. I’m getting an opinion, but that’s about it.
 
My SIL has one with 3 barrels and loves it to death!!!
Call Clayton and visit with him about it. He can answer any questions. FYI for all the naysayers out there Google Clayton Smith at West Texas ordinance....lots of good info and a respected military man. By the way my next one will be a switch lug, 300WM and 6.5 PRC but that's just me going blah blah blah

I have a custom built by Horizon Firearms with the WTO switch barrel installed.
Mine is a 6.5 PRC / 300 PRC and it works as advertised. Takes about 45 seconds or so to swap.
