The following is an email that I sent asking for information on the XLR-250 light followed by a response from Elusive Wildlife Technologies, L.L.P, Chad W. Stevenson.
It has been hard to figure out what a light will actully do in the field without buying and using it. Hope that this helps on the XLR-250.

It would be real informative to list the run time on one battery
for the XLR-250 lights. I would not even consider buying any light without
this information.
Do the white, green and red XLR-250 lights realy throw the same amount
of light, 250 meters/yards? What is needed is a standard rating system
for illumination at given distances.
I do a lot of shooting at night with Degrading Deer Permits and am
constantly looking for other light options.
There is always discussion on the night hunting section of Predator
Masters forums and I would gladly post the above information for you, if
you can supply same. Better yet, I could post that your site now has this
information.
Thank you,
Jim Porter
Jim,
Sorry for the delayed response to your e-mail but we are EXTREMELEY busy right now as you can imagine and we just moved so we are a little all over the place right now and trying to get organized, unpacked and take care of all of our customers.
I Thought the run times were listed on the website but maybe not. If I get time we will get it added. If its not there it certainly isn't to deceive anyone but just because it got left out. I know its on the instructions that come with then lights but I don't guess that would do you any good until you actually had one of our lights. The red LED will usually last 1.5-2 hours per battery and the green and white LED's will usually last 2-4 hours per battery. The light only takes one battery and you get 2 with it so you will always have a back up. We sell a replacement pack of our own Kill Light batteries for only $19.95. I will check into the run time on the site and if it is not there I t will be on there after this e-mail.
They really will shine 250 yards in good conditions and not just light up eyes. Allot of lights can light eyes at some good distnaces but not like ours and not like our special red LED version that will not spook your predators like the others on the market.
We do offer money back guarantee on our products and will even refund the shipping charges on our lights if for some reason they are not to your liking but we have never had one returned for that reason as of yet. We also have the best customer service you will find other than we are so busy right now there may be a slight more delay than we would like in getting you taken care of but we are working on resolving that now which is why we moved to a larger location and are making many changes as we grow. Our customers have always been #1 and we take care of them the best we can and you can ask around about that as well.
If you have any other questions or need any additional information please feel free to e-mail me back.
