Yes they actually do eat each other as many of us already know.
This mangy ol girl was slinking below us last eve and stayed in the tall grass chomping on something and made me wonder why she was not at the dead pile eating steak 30 feet from her.
I was thinking they had drug a leg from the cow and into the tall stuff for safer eating. My pal shot her and we saw that other coyotes had drug the 4 we shot last week and left in a pile off into the tall grasses to eat instead of the cow.
So we drug them all back to the open area and re-piled them back up.
Maybe she thought if she ate the nice healthy furred one that would transform her back to normal...ha
