i agree skin them where they fall. i carry latex gloves and tube socks covered in flea powder with the toes cut off to put over my wrists and fore arms. narry a flea to be found after the work is done. carcass = bait.
 
The hides on ours are worth exactly nothing so the coyotes I kill usually lay where they fall. No use dragging them out no one around here wants to see a dead coyote any way.
