Hello all,
Our number one question about the Bush-Buster from phone in orders is:
Q: How does it connect to the Jack-in-the-box and or Minaska Sidewinder decoy units and how does it adjust to various heights?
A: First of all the unit adjusts from its standing height (When attached to the drive unit)Right about 23 inches.
It then can be slid or extended up to 34 inches total height above the ground. When a "topper" is added it exceeds above 36 inches from ground level. We determined when testing and developing the unit, that most heavily forested areas and under growth of ferns and or Hay fields don't exceed our highest setting,
Yes, hay fields can get quite a bit taller but most of the time the wind and rain depleat the exact tallness of the grasses and allow the topper to be in full sight.
So we standarized the height at 34 inches.
Now back to the question. Sorry for side tracking a bit, but I wanted to give you all a little backround on its development.
How it attaches is that we developed our own adapter that slips on the motors drive shaft very easily, You simply remove FOXPRO'S or Minaska's adapter and replace it with ours.
The Bush-Busters unit has two pieces of spring wire that is housed with two spring compression adjusters, which now, that I may add, come with Glow in the dark dots, that are afixed to the adjusters, This makes the unit easier to ID for night hunting. By simply pulling or pushing the extension up or down you adjust the unit to the desired height, anywhere from 17-34 inches above the drive unit.

Finally: Why do I need a BUSH-BUSTER?
The unit provides you the ability to use the decoy in areas and setups that normally one wouldn't or couldn't place a decoy.
I think that for many of you, You go to set out your decoy and find out the terrian won't accomodate it, not so much out West but hunting the Eastern corridors it sure does provide more opportunity for decoy placement, where that added edge to distract leary predators may be needed.
The unit can be purchased with or without the carrier.
Here is a front and back picture of the carrier, we do however reccommend the carrier it sure makes it much easier to deploy and protects the unit when not in use.
