Oh dear lord! A tote on the back of the minivan!??? Hope your wife didn’t have to take the kids to school the next morning!! LOLOne winter day I made a great running shot on a big male. I drug him back to the minivan & tossed him in a plastic tote in the back. It only took a mile or so to figure out I wasn't giving him a ride any further than the little quarry up the road. What stinkin' bassturd !!!
No wife, no kids, no worries.Oh dear lord! A tote on the back of the minivan!??? Hope your wife didn’t have to take the kids to school the next morning!! LOL
Ultimate grey man! My EDC is worth more than my beater lol.No wife, no kids, no worries.
The minivan was an everyday "beater", with the back seats taken out.
I've had several in the past, especial great for traveling to rifle matches.
Nobody would figure there's several thousand dollars of gear in the "soccer mom" vehicle in the parking lot.
Just like coyote hunting, never say never!Nobody would figure there's several thousand dollars of gear in the "soccer mom" vehicle in the parking lot.
True. I've heard of people also scoping out the shooters at a match & watching what/which vehicles they drove, then doing their dirty deeds late at night in the hotel parking lots.Just like coyote hunting, never say never!
In 1983 I took the wife's new Astro van to the TSRA state HP match in San Antonio. Most of the competitors stayed at same motel, so 90% of the vehicles in the lot belonged to shooters, many of them displaying TSRA, NRA and other decals identifying them; not the Astro, but that didn't keep some misfit from doing several hundred $$ worth of damage to the passenger door attempting to break
into it. Fortunately, I always took all the rifles, scopes etc. to the room at night.![]()
The van had tinted glass and you couldn't see in. Only thing left in the vehicle at night was our ammo.....probably a good thing we didn't have it in the room.I had made a false floor in the back of mine to hide the guns from prying eyes.
++Gotta love the extended cabs.Everyone of my pickups I build shelves for the backseat area.
That is the fallacy of the concealed carry laws that force CCW's to shed their firearm before entry into restricted areas (Post office comes to mind, especially since even the parking lot is prohibited).NEVER leave guns in a vehicle, locked or not!
While I generally tend to agree, sometimes is just not feasible.NEVER leave guns in a vehicle, locked or not!
