Your dream gun?

If you could have one gun(or shotgun, muzzleloader, pistol, bow, or other), what would it be? Maybe you already have it so go ahead and say what it is. It doesn't have to be a comercial rifle, it can be custom/semi-custom.

Mine would be a rifle built off a Remington model 700 action, have a 24" stainless spiral-fluted barrel(button-rifled and free floated of course), a tan thumb-hole stock with the black spider webbing design, and be topped of with a Leupold 3-9x50 VX-L scope in some Leupold bases. It would be chambered in .280 Remington.

How about yours?

Probably a Panda action with a righthand bolt/lefthand ejection port, 26" fluted Lilja or one of the other custom barrel makers, a shehane tracker or McMillan EDGE stock, 2-8oz trigger, topped with a 12-40x56 Nightforce benchrest scope, either a 6.5-284 or a .204, and tiny tiny groups /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Oh I love dream rifles. I want mine so bad. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Mine would either be the accuracy international awsm in .338 lapua mag.

Or the cheytack m-200 in .408.

Those are a little out of my price range though...

If I'm gonna dream, I'm dreaming big,

Here's my dream gun. Flat shooting, half inch groups, whacks coyotes as far as I can shoot and it's in my safe right now.

CZ 527, 204 Ruger.

That's for varmints. My 700 Rem 280 Mountain rifle with a 2.8 to 10 Simmons AETEC works for deer hunting.

For elk this 1986 Remington yearly Classic 700 in 8mm Remington mag, pushing 220 grain Sierra boat tails at 3080 fps works extremely well. It also wears a Simmons scope.

Ya Im diggin the missles youll never be able to find what you shot at! I'd probably say a 50 semi auto 24 inch bull fluted, and free floated! Or a 338 lapua cause thats another sweet gun!

That's a good squirrel gun. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Problem is, you have to switch up your formulas. It's no longer foot-pounds. It's now kilotons of energy. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
