Another great old friend trying to convince Pedro (the camp cook) to scramble this fresh Ostrich egg for the camp breakfast the following morning to no avail. It seems Pedro had agreed to do so a few years back and when he hit the (not so fresh) egg with a hammer it exploded. Breakfast was late that morning as it took him several hours to restore the kitchen to a usable state. We knew this egg was only a few hours old, but never did convince Pedro.
