We caught a few fish, mostly Redbanded Rainbows and a couple of Brook Trout. There only a handful of place where you can catch the redband trout, this creek is one of them:

Here's one of the Brook Trout:

Here's the smallest one I caught, it was about 3". Always amazes me that they can get hooked:

Here is the largest one, it was about 14-1/2":

In all I caught 19, one of my sons caught 26 or so, and another son caught 6. It was a fun day of fishing.

Ambitious little buggers, aren't they. Great pix, thanks for sharing. Only had one opportunity to fish the cold mountain streams in CA and was surprised at how scrappy the fish were for their size compared to the warmer water fish down here.

Funny, but true. Years ago before kids we had ferrets. Way cooler than cats. Anyway, the little turds will find all kinds of ways to get lost, but they usually come wandering back around for some love within a few hours. One time we couldn't find our big fat male. After hours of waiting and searching, we finally found him in the gun safe, which we had opened for just a few seconds to put something away. I probably needed stickers like these...
