Won't be long until he keeps you busy loading to keep him in ammo. ;) I see some fun times in the future; take advantage of every opportunity, they grow up all too fast, ask me how I know.:)

Sandhill crane hunt in Texas panhandle Dec. 2022
They say those things are darn good eating. I’ve never acquired the taste for waterfowl. I’ve got buddies that are diehard and I’ve tried it all (except crane) in every way possible and I just can’t get onboard with it. I don’t know why, I just never have liked it.

But they say those Sandhill cranes are some kind of tasty.

Good looking rifle/scope combo. Details?

Started life as a Remington 700 SPS in 6.5 CM.

All that is left now of the original is the action. Took to Horizon Firearms in College Station for rebuild. Iota Kremlin stock, trigger tech trigger, Horizon fluted, threaded, cerakoted barrel. Scope is Leupold LRP vx3i 6.5-20x50 30mm tube with a TMR recticle. Has 20 MOA base and Iota rings. Sports a Q-half Nelson suppressor now too. Shooting Hornady 143 grain eldx hand loads.
