From back in the day, my first Aoudad.

It took +/- 16 months to close the deal from the first time I spotted him until I managed to nail him.
Used a Browning High-Wall, 30-06 loaded with 180 gr. Partitions

Great picture, GW! Is Reagan Wells in the Camp Wood area? That's some pretty country up there.

I've been hunting the hill country since 1999. Mostly with the same core group of guys. For the last 19 years we've been on Dolph Briscoe's homestead ranch @ Reagan Wells.

We have a 1,700 acre pasture out of a 60,000 acre spread. We are 5 miles below Concan, six miles in off HWY 83. Its hard country but I go there every chance I can manufacture.

I thought that was the general area. Hunted a couple of years on a place SW of Camp Wood. Don't blame you for going every chance you get.
