I feel fortunate that these little critters are doing well in my back yard.

Haven't seen one of those in years, Troy. We used to have tons of them; kept them as pets. Is his tail missing or just curled under?
 
That was taken from the truck. Where we burned I can still see, where we didn’t burn it’s fairly thick and tough to see. That is of course where we burned which is why it’s green.
 
Uncovered the picture of my first coyote, 1952. Mauser .308, 6x Weaver scope & 110 gr. Hornady Spire Point. 300 yards running across salt flats. I should stop right here, but in the interest of full disclosure, rolled him on the fourth shot. Missed him standing @ about 200, and two more shots as he ran a 45* escape route. His luck ran out @ 300.

Just curled under. For whatever reason, they are still fairly common around the place. I regularly move them out of the road so unobservant idiots don't run them over. I hate seeing them smashed. :mad:
