Lots of sink holes in the US and around the world. The one at top-of-the-rock in Branson is the largest I've seen.

And - Cathedral of Nature
Have a pic of it someplace - when they were digging it out. Finally they gave up as they couldn't find the end of the cave. I was standing n the edge and excavators looked like ants at the bottom of the hole.
