Pic of the night actually. Two days of above freezing and no snowfall (we had rain
) settled the snow pack down and I was finally able to make a few sets. This was the moon rising on my last set of the night. Temps dropped and snow was super loud and crunchy. No takers, but man it felt great to get out and get my much needed nature fix!

Some photos from our 2025 deer season.
Youth opener morning, Sept 27.
Early muzzleloader adventures, Nov 2nd.
Started the evening with high hopes but got a little discouraged later on, Nov 15th.
Got an 8 point 5 days later
I got this one Dec 13th.
Glassing the hills towards the seasons end, Jan 2.
Overall we got to see many animals, take a few bucks, and let many more go in hopes to make memories chasing next season. I’m very blessed to get to share the time outdoors, passion of the hunt, and the appreciation of nature with my son.
Now it’s time to switch gears to chasing coyotes.

Cattle ranch. Must have been a pretty prosperous one in it's day. I'd have no problem "eviscerating" the squatters
