“The Mallard Duck… Master of the Marshes”

A drawing my youngest daughter drew for me back in 2003. She’s 31 years old now. She was in a fairly serious car accident last weekend. Nobody was seriously injured, but I can’t stop thinking of how things would have turned out with just a few seconds difference either way. She’s very lucky, as is the other vehicle involved. I’ve been looking at this little memento in a different light ever since. Hug your kids, and let them know you love them every chance you get!

It is truly a blessing, Clarence. Believe me, there was/is much to be thankful for. It could have been much worse. The Lord spared everyone involved and that means so much to all of us. It really makes you think!… And it hurts me to think the alternative!
