Me, too.
I've tested it at distances and 150 yards is the practical maximum height for my .223. At 250, I'm getting close to the bottom of the 6" kill zone (around 2" low) and don't have much wiggle room. At 300 yards, the crosshairs on the top of a coyote's back will drop the bullet into the bull. So, basically, if the coyote's inside 200 yards, I aim just a little low. If he's outside 200, I aim dead-on, maybe a little higher than a little lower. At "out there", I just put the crosshairs on his back or a smidge higher. That's my max distance for the .223 so I don't much worry about it past that.
Works pretty well for me. I took 1 of this years dogs at an even 300 and about an hour later took my cat at 250.
