it took me 2-3 years to really wind down but I have plenty of hobbies, shop work and chores so there's never enough hours in the day, bored, nope not me. Enjoy your retirement, you worked for it!

For me it's thursday night. trash pickup is friday AM and they can run real early, it's unpredictable

6 years for me now, don't regret it! Of course I have more hobbies than most people. If I'm not hunting or fishing I'll be in my shop either machining fishing reels or making watches.

I’m semi retired and spend most of the week helping my daughter out by watching my 19 mo grandson. No hunting or shooting with him yet. Keeps me busy.

Monday .. Range closed. Collect recycle bin from curb / afternoon.
Tuesday .. Range closed.
Wednesday ... Range open.
Thursday ... Range open, Trash in to curb (afternoon)
Friday ... Range open. Collect Trash bin collection (afternoon)
Saturday ... Range open.
Sunday ... Range open. Recycle bin to the curb afternoon /night

RETIREMENT: When each day is the beginning of another 7 day weekend!

I retired at 56 which was 14 years ago. Been enjoying retirement as a single man with a simple plan.

Moved where Im 15 minutes away from a launch ramp and got a Nitro Bass Boat. I fish like a maniac whem I'm not calling coyotes. Got a travel trailer and now I hunt and Fish in multiple states every year.

Donate a lot of game meat and game fish to a church meal ministry that provides dinners for families in distress.

Absolutely love retirement!
