Just that. You don't hear much about it anymore.
I think it comes with 300 pieces of brass and 450 110gr V-Max. Sounds like he may have built it for the lighter bullets.Saw that ad. Fwiw, thats a 1:12 twist? Odd twist for 300bo? Wud seem to limit it to the lightest bullets if im correct on what ive seen online? Nice lil toy otherwise!
I haven't looked at the .338 ARC yet. My take on the 300BO, it's velocity between sub and super are closer than most making it one of the best options to run sub-sonic. I've always been puzzled by guys trying to run sub-sonic .223, or any other high velocity round. Doesn't make a lick of sense to me.Not the latest greatest anymore and not much more to be said. Supers aren't much more than a 7.62x39 but better bullet selection and subs are like throwing rocks trajectory wise but super quiet.
Newer sub cals out now like the 338 arc with slightly better ballistics.
Love has actually nothing to do with the decline across the buying/ Kool-aid crowd. The new has worn off, focus is now gone elsewhere. It will return to the niche status it enjoyed prior to the whiz-kid, Kool-aid folks toting it as "the" answer.I love the caliber personally.
huh? I can’t pitch a ball a 100 yards, and its subsonic rounds are quite effective at 100. There are several bullets specifically designed for subsonic. Got issues and don’t want to be heard? It’s awesome.300 bo, anything 1050 fps or less is a no-go.
Trajectory is like pitching a ball.
Energy is really low. The only thing that makes sense to me is a large caliber or a 22 lr.
Lacking energy, the size of the hole it makes it mo better.
