I'm shooting a Tikka T3x in 243 and using factory Winchester Ballistic Silvertips with 55 gr NBT's. They have been dropping them nicely so sticking with them.

Also have a T3X Roughtec in 243. 75 gr Vmax for coyotes. DangTikkas shoot pretty good.

Mine shoots the HSM Varmint with the 75gr Vmax minute of coyote and they knock em down just fine too. The Winchesters just group in tiny little clusters that make me smile! Hornady Superformance with the 58 gr vmax shot tiny groups too but didn't kill as well. Had some with monster holes on the entrance side and lost one or two with frontal shots. Hasn't been the case with the NBT's

Gotta love the NBT's. Used Noslers almost exclusively for all my hunting bullets and the NBT's for predators and hogs. I think the NBT"s are same jacket used on the old solid base bullets, which were an old favorite. I was told the silver tips were NBT's w different color tips.

Spent a few rainy days opening up a few bullets just for the heck of it.

@hm1996 Yeah, as far as I know Clarence, the 55gr version is just an NBT with a different color tip and some black oxide coating.
