Springfield XDs in 45 ACP
or Ruger LCP .380
The LCP in a wallet style holster is easily concealed, carries relatively comfortably, unless you have to sit on a hard bench you don't know it's there, and with laser sight you have some idea of where you want to hit.
There's not a lot of difference in size of the LCP 9mm and the 380 can be converted to 9, but I really don't know why anyone would want to convert it for what they're asking for the conversion kit.
Downside is... The trigger on the LCP sucks, and it's only moderately reliable outside arm's length, given the short barrel and truly ugly break on the sear. It just plain jumps when the trigger breaks on it. There's nothing short of trigger mods going to stop it. I've dry fired mine repeatedly holding the laser on a doorknob, trying to figure out where the issue is, and I can hold it perfect right up to the point the trigger breaks, and then it jumps EVERY TIME.
