17 HMR for Wolf or Wolverine?

kymailman- for me it's the people that use such language in a primarily negative manner that's bothersome.
There's lots of places in the world that it's almost common in day to day language. That guy wasn't being dirty,mean, or nasty just part of his speach. Probably grew up all around it and it was seen as normal. I've always lived and worked in small rural towns and it's pretty normal.

To say you don't have respect for someone because they cuss is poor judgement in my view. He could be a fireman, soldier, paramedic,teacher, coast guard etc doing pretty important duties for country and community the rest of the year. These people are deserving of everyones respect.

My younger sister is a cardiologist and she can curse a blue streak, mind you not in every sentence. Doubt she got that far without throwing a couple 1000 Fbombs. I respect her despite the fact.
 
can someone please pm me the link in question? I'm interested to see how a 17 works on a wolverine and also this guys use of sentence enhancers.

As much as I dissaprove of underpowered attempts to kill animals. I watched another of this guys videos where he got a carabou(no I dont think with a rimfire this time)but he even saves the heart, liver, touge and spine striped of meat just for stew bones.
 
Rock Knocker, thanks for the PM. I'll agree, he is a bit heavy on the wording, but you gotta admit that none of us would be very concerned with using expletives if we had just bagged a wolverine. The 17 is used because of minimal pelt damage.. that wolverine will bring $500 on the fur market and no trapper I've ever met likes to sew holes. He's not really hunting, he's putting down trapped animals and given the choice, I'd rather drink turpentine and pee on a brush fire than go toe to toe with a wolverine. That critter was a target of opportunity and he did prety well considering. Just sayin....
 
I would not hesitate to take a wolf or wolverine with a 17 HMR at a reasonable distance. Wolverines are small perfect for the 17 HMR, [beeep] a Super Blanket beaver out weighs a wolverine. A wolf shot through the lungs is a dead wolf, period. I have shot many wolverine and wolves in traps with a 22LR through the lungs and all died quickly.
 
How many times does it have to pointed out that shooting animals in a trap and shooting them on the hoof is two COMPLETELY different things. I'm tired of the window lickers not being able to tell the difference in an apple and a torque wrench.
