The scope is a lower end Bushnell, it's okay and better than many package scopes (which tend to be extremely cheap junk quality no name brand). However for more than just some mild moderate use , and if you want to have a nicer scope that is very solid and great quality for the $I'd buy the non scoped version get a Burris Predator Quest, they make it in the same camo pattern as the predator, Seen people buy this scope for their Predators, I got one myself though selling it to get a black one for my model 7 predator which has a different camo. T/C markets Warne rings for the venture it in black 30$ 50$ for matching camo if I recall. I just got black lol since bolt and grips are black nice contrast.
300$ for the Burris but worth it quality is of scopes costing many times more, light too (15 oz for the 4.5x14!). Otherwise package scope do okay for more casual use but nothing special.
Non scoped version which you can order to your vendor also saves about 50$ or so if I remember depending, I didn't get it since I knew the Burris was a perfect fit for this rifle.
