Ya this platform will work awesome on the dogs, making a 400 yd shot very very easy with only a 4 minute hold... I've taken one dog a little over 400 with this set up, slick shooting platform this little rifle is!!!
*my bad* if you were looking for inches of drop @ 400yds??? if you were, I don't chart it, I chrono my load, and "true" my trajectory via POI, and either memorize, write down, or store the DOPE in my Nomad, all data that I acquire is by shooting first, many just put the numbers in their ballistic program and go, not me... I enjoy calibrating the optics click value as well as reticle value, breaking in the barrels of all my weapons, and work up the most accurate load possible, in the long run, its make my job alot easier killing dogs that hold up @ mid to longer ranges!!!
NOTE: if I plug in the EXACT info my chrono outputs, and input the BC of the 55gr HPBT, along with all deterministic variables, and read it directly from the data my itouch puts out @ 400yds I would have "roughly" 30inches of drop, and this does NOT match up with my DOPE, if I held what my PDA said without doing any of my trajectory truing, I would miss high by about 2 minutes!!!
