It wasn't designed TO tumble. it was designed NOT TO blow the ever loving spit out of things.
 
I've just never seen a 223 or 5.56 take the rib cage and intestines out of anything other than maybe a P-dog or a squirrel. A human........??? Never shot a human so I don't know. Hope I never have to find out.
