25-06 AI Loads

Brent, I would be willing to bet you could get close to 3750 only bumping up 15grains. Might be worth a try for a long range rig. My hog hunting partner shoots a 25-284 that throws a 110BIB at 3450 and its super flat to 1200. Now I'm really starting to think about what a couple hundred fps and a higher bc could do
 
Thanks for the info Brent. The 25-06 is my favorite cartridge hands down, I"m on my 4th one currently. Always wanted a 257 WM, but figured with the cost, you could build a 25-06 AI that would run with it and be cheaper loading.

I have a standard 25-06 at the moment with a 24" shilen. It is a fast barrel. I am getting 3500fps with 100g NBT's and 60.5g Retumbo, and 3285fps with 115g NBT's and 57.5g Retumbo.

I know it wouldn't be worth it to AI my 24" tube, but you know what, it just might since it is kinda fast to begin with. I could go for another 150fps...
