I use 6.8 parent brass for my 6.5DTI. All of it works for my application in a hunting rifle; I have used SSA, Rem, Barrett(SSA), Hornady, and Federal. Hornady seems to be the most precisely made by appearance but Barrett/SSA seems to be my favorite has it has more case capacity, no primer crimp, and small primer pockets. There are differing generations of all of these that vary by head stamp and desirability by the 6.8 cognoscenti. Remington works fine but the necks are a bit thinner ime resulting in less neck tension and the large primer pocket requires extra attention when reloading. No issues with durability as I am not a high volume shooter. I anneal with a candle flame every 2-3 firings and before the first firing; nearly all my brass has been purchased as 'once fired'.
