Any 17 caliber cleaning rods recommended

I use a Tipton carbon fiber 17 cal rod for both 17 and 20. I also have a Dewey 20 cal coated steel rod but it's too easy to bend, I like the cf better.

I just bought a bore tech 17 cal and it works well. I think it's even more important to use a bore guide with these smaller rods than it is the bigger ones

After using and going thru many 17 and 20 caliber rods, Pro Shot is what I settled on. They've been the best so far for me. And as pointed out by Redleg, bore guides are a must.

I've bent a couple Proshots. Tipton can't be bent. Handle is a lot nicer on the Tipton too.

Boretech is a nice .20 caliber rod. But for .17, myself, Tipton is the way to go.

I have a Dewey and it seems like its really easy to bend. All my other Dewey's are fine but the little 17/20 is really easy to bend. Might try a Tipton next time.

Tipton Carbon Fiber and Bore-Tech Coated Steel. Steel can be bent, but in general, if you're pushing hard enough to bend a rod, something is amiss. Not a lot of drag in a little 17 bore.

The one I have for my 17's is a Gunslick one piece carbon fiber rod.

They're pretty skinny little rods for those little bores and a bore guide, when cleaning my HMR, is almost a must or the rod bows something fierce. Doesn't seem to be as much of an issue with my 17 WSM and I don't recall it being a problem with my 17 Hornet but my 17 HMR is a real beeotch to get a patch down, especially, on the first pass.

bore tech all the way for me had a tipton carbon fiber and broke it . dewey nice rod but handel spin better on boretech .
