Any Postal workers here?

According to tracking, my spring was supposed to be here today. Guess what? It didn't make it. Doesn't surprise me at all. Maybe tomorrow.....or not?????

According to the tracking number I should have received it today. Maybe tomorrow or Saturday. If it isn't here by then I guess another call is in order.

I just looked again and tracking says its in Tulsa. Maybe it will get here tomorrow.

Ya the old driller is in pretty good shape.

6724- the spring was $12.95and $6 to ship it. LOL Its not the cost, its the principal. Their CS sucks.

Anything I get from Florida takes 4 to 5 days longer and I live in Ohio.

If I mail a Christmas card to the Lady next door it takes 3 to 4 day to get there.

Its pretty simple. Refuse the credit card charge and move on.

Now we're at 4 pages for a $13 spring. Impressive

While I do agree, refusing the charges would have been simple with the exception, I wanted the spring kit for my rifle.I ordered the spring on Nov 12 and M-Carbo advertised same day shipping. It sat in Florida for a week before ever getting to the post office. I made several calls to M-Carbo telling them that the package is not moving and they kept requesting that I wait and give it time and if I hadn't received it by the 23rd, they would ship another. Well it didn't arrive on the 23rd, which was a Friday and they close over the week-end, so I can't contact them until Monday. During this wait, I got e-mails asking if I received the spring, installation instructions and how I liked the service I got from them, would I like to write a review on the service I got. LOL Monday came and I was going to call and cancel my order but I checked the tracking again and the spring kit was finally moving (with a new tracking number) so my wait was on again. So yes, I could have canceled my order, but I also wanted the spring and there aren't many options for Browning rifles.

And for FYI, I got an e-mail this morning and they refunded my shipping charges so it made the hassle a little better. Yes, 5 pages over a spring and poor customer service is a lot but it kept you reading, you didn't have to if it bothered you that much.

Well, I got the trigger spring replaced and it was a PITA. I ended up removing the trigger from the action then taking the trigger apart to get the old spring out. After all was said and done, I went from a 3 1/2 pound trigger to a 2 pound trigger. It might go lighter but I stopped there. All in all it wasn't worth the head ache or the install hassle. My smith did a trigger job on his and got the same results cutting a coil off the trigger spring. I guess this long post is finally over.

The End!

You don't get off that easy! You have to range test it and tell us if it feels like you have improved the performance on the rifle.

Greg

Will do Greg!!Oh its for sure a better trigger, It was a a decent trigger to start with. Broke nice and crisp, was just a little heavy.

I just polish my trigger group and remove a coil or two from most of my trigger groups now a days...accept for my Remington 700 which get timneys and my ARs that get single stage drop ins. Saves time and money. I have done this to my ruger 77/44, ruger American 450 BM, CZ 452, and a friends 30-06 American. Got them all down to a safe, crisp 1 1/4 lbs on average.

What does not kill you makes you stronger! It will all mellow out as you get at hunting with your improved trigger.

My brother did the Timney twofer and he used the stiffer of the lighter replacement springs (he is the elk hunter) and I snagged his lighter spring for free (I am the predator hunter) and we are both happy.

FYI my package I signed for on the 24 th of last month never showed. I filed a complaint on the USPS website and checked the box to get a call back. That's was almost two weeks ago and nothing. I wrote down my contact info today and handed it to my mailman to give to his superior. I asked him to have someone research what ever I signed for and to call me.

Don't know if it's true but, I was told that some companies will accept your order, print out their own shipping label, (with postage paid, separate agreement with the Postal Service) and it will at that point show that the package has shipped, when in fact it's still in the warehouse. Or, they have to order it themselves. Then they give you the run around until they get the order and finally really ship it.

Probably pretty close to being the truth.
