Any Postal workers here?

Usps and ups have generally been good to me. Fed ex cant even seem to find my house w their gps....house has been in the same place for about 100 yrs or so!!! Ups guy has no issues. A couple wks ago they showed a couple stripped aero 308 uppers delivered to my door....no uppers on the porch....waited a couple days ....still no uppers....contacted aero and they started "lost or stolen" process....a few days later they landed on my porch......had a similar experience w a pc recently too.....they need to get their house in order if they wanna stay in this race.

I hate when stuff is shipped fed-ex. We are too rural and the closest drop off is 70 miles away.

I can't complain about usps at all. In fact, just an hour ago our local mail carrier dropped off a barrel I'd bought from a private seller. It took me a bit to realize, um, it's Thanksgiving! Only thing I can figure is it showed up at the post office yesterday afternoon and he must be a neighbor and thought I'd want it today on my day off. Pretty thoughtful.

I haven't had any problems with UPS or USPS but FedEx service
is a train wreck.

Last spring I ordered products from a company using FedEx
service which is 60-70 miles from me. Checking the tracking a
couple days later when it should have been here, I saw that it
wound up in Indiana! It stayed at that depot a couple days, then
another in that state for another couple days, then to Des
Moines to Cedar Rapids to the local USPS and was finally
delivered the next day. There is a main FedEx terminal close
to half way between said company and me. Similar things have
happened twice prior to that, but I don't recall the specifics.

I priority mailed some stuff to IIRC Indiana from Phoenix. It ended up in Anchorage Alaska two days later. It left there and still made it to the customer in 4 days total one of which was Sunday!!

Well I waited until the 23rd like they ask me to and the spring kit is still a no-show. I sent them a not so nice e-mail and said if they thought they could get me a replacement I would take it but if there is any doubt, just refund my card. Now I wait again.

I don't know Greg. Its a spring kit for a Browning X-Bolt. My smith can do a trigger job though. He did it on his.

They haven't said they won't do a refund but they keep wanting me to wait to see if it magically shows up. Its still in Florida according to the tracking. Never left there.

When I did a search for triggers for the x-bolt, this company offered a replacement spring that reduced the pull weight by close to 50%. I think Timney offered a trigger but they were close to $180 or in that range. Reviews were very good and the price was $12.95. A considerable difference. So I ordered one. I'm sure the company means well but there's a major glitch on their end. They said they have several orders being held up for the same reasons. Its not the money, its the principal. They brag about fast, same day shipping. Didn't happen here. As far as options, other than complete triggers I didn't see anything.

That's considerable savings if it does what it says. I don't know squat about the X-bolt platform so I have zero working knowledge of what's available. I'd probably place another order and when I got one in I'd cancel the other. I had a real snafu on a rifle stock two months ago and that's basically what I did. $65.00 stocks for $15.00 was worth the headache.

I just got an e-mail from the President of the company asking how I like the parts I got from them and if I would go on FaceBook and tell my experience with his company and if the parts worked like they should. I e=mailed him back and said I ordered parts on 11/12/18 and as of 11/23/18 I haven't received them yet. Do you really want me to tell my experiences with your company on an open forum? Guess I'll see what he has to say.

I love those automated follow ups. I got one recently on a back order of brass that I had not received and it was one I was really waiting for because the rumor was the shipment had arrived after being pushed back three times. I called and the nice lady explained it was based on the time the order should have been shipped..lol

I got the brass ten days later but we did kind of laugh that I couldn't find anything wrong or right with the non-delivered goods.

I would call his bluff!

He asked for it and he’s a big boy!

I'm going to wait until Monday and see what they have to say. If I get the run around again on Monday I'll post the company name and address as well as go on their FB page. I'm going to give them one last try on making this right.

This is getting ridiculous. I got an e-mail this morning saying M-Carbo was going to ship me a new trigger spring kit and gave me a tracking number. Now tonite when I checked it, it is saying the same thing that shipment is pending. WTH, can't they get something as small as a spring form Florida to Oklahoma? Maybe a call to them and cancel shipment is in order. My trigger isn't that bad and sure not worth all this BS.

Seems to me that they are doing something incorrectly when generating the shipping label. Why not just toss it in an envelope and put a stamp on it!?

That was my thoughts too but now I'm calling them in the morning and telling them to put it when the sun don't shine. Tired of messing with these people.

Well, I checked again this morning (Tuesday) and it looks like the spring is actually on its way. Should be here Thursday.

For some goofy reason the last year or so I'll get my mail after 6 pm two to three times a week and then the next day 10:30 to 11 am in the morning. Then no mail for two days. I can't remember the last time I never received mail in a day. Last week I received a piece of copy paper in my box...on the 25 th saying I needed to sign for a package from the 21 st and if I didn't it would be returned on the 27th. I returned the signed slip the next day and haven't seen my package yet. I confronted my postman two days ago and he said he'd check on it. No mail again yesterday! I think my local post office is short staffed and are not delivering my mail every day. If I schedule a pickup someone picks it up early before I get mail...or if I even do.
