I have a Timney drop in trigger. Can this be adjusted it seems to have a little creep and would like to see if I can adjust that out. I tried to call Timney and it said temporary out of order.
Dang it! I was just about to buy one! I'll be paying attention to this one. Too bad no one has had anything to say about it. Is it a lot better than stock?

I don't understand that sentence. Did you call and get an automated voice?
I've heard of some Timney's with creep although very few. Those posting about them in the past had sent them back to Timney and they sent them back crisp and ready. You may want to try that. It shouldn't have any creep...neither of mine do.

I didnt have to, it was perfect, not a tad of creep at all.
I called Timney today and talked to Jeff. I was told that I should take the trigger assembly out and reinstall it and see if that helps. I will give that a try over the week end. If that doesn't work then I can send it back for a new one.
I put the 4# on mine because my AR does double duty. Hunting/plinking and home defense. Night and day difference over the mil-spec trigger. It felt like it was full of gravel!
Well i did remove the trigger and reinstall it. I didn't tighten the set screws as tight. I think that made a difference. I have to shoot it to be sure.
I guess I'm the odd man out on this, I have 2 3 lb timney triggers and both have creep and have since changed them back to RR 2 stage. Maybe I should give timney a call before I give up on them
I have a 3lb skeletonized trigger that was nice and crisp when I first put it in and it developed some creep. Rather than take it out and send it back I decided to see if I could adjust it myself. I now have a crisp no creep 2lb 10oz trigger.
