ATF Form 4 Wait Times.

The tax stamp will be gone January 1, 2026. However, the paper requirement will remain. Therefore, some are anticipating longer wait times due to lack of funding combined with an increase in applications.

Why would you think that ? The Feds don't set the prices .

I'd be willing to bet many companies will eat the $200 stamp between now and January to keep the sales flowing.
 
My dealer said he had a guy offer to pay him double the price of the suppressor ,if he would cancel my order and sell it to him !

I said dang, I would have split the profit with you ! :LOL:
 
I bought an AB-10 762 in late November to be submitted after the first. Called dealer to check this morning. I got the old I'm running behind, I have 45 to do! For Pete's sake, they knew this was coming!!!!! Poor management skill to say the least. The person with this task should have no other duties to attend to until it is complete. And depending how hard or long the task is, needs more help on the task.

An analogy:
You own a restaurant, Your private room is booked for 20 people. This is on mothers day weekend that is historically busy. What do you do? Business as usual? No you load up your staff, cooks, prep people, wait staff, etc. YOU PREPARE!

Now if the system has crashed that's one thing but that is not what I was told. It was as if she was overwhelmed, as if this is a surprise or something! We'll see how it shakes out but at the moment I'm not too happy.

My son went into Idaho Guns, a local dealer, and was looking to buy. They told him there is a six month waiting period as of Saturday 1/3/26. Don't know how accurate there info is, but that's what they told him. So, no sale that day.

I hope your not correct. I can't get a straight answer on this. Is the system down? what's going on?
As I posted earlier my dealer has not submitted mine yet, no clear answer on why. I don't want to be a pest but I do want to know what the STORY is. Hopefully someone with some first hand knowledge of the current situation is will come along and let us know.

I hope it's wrong too. I'm waiting until February to buy another one. Will hopefully know how things are by then.
