ATF Form 4 Wait Times.

Approved today 1/20/2026 ... submitted 1/07/2026 , notified by LGS, still waiting on the email for ATF, maybe tomorrow, maybe Friday maybe next month?? whom knows

Still waiting on the PDF from ATF. Although the LGS did receive the PDF I did not. Seems this is not a outlier, but somewhat common now. I've held two differing conversations with NFA branch concerning this. Same response, send a e-mail to eforms.request@aft.gov
Why hold two conversations? The second one (today) was to see IF there was a updated process to get a digital copy of the paperwork (PDF). Nope same response. So I sent the second request for the approved paperwork via e-mail.
The LGS cannot forward the PDF as it is a tax document, while I understand the complexities of this, what I DON'T get is why no acknowledgement of the email is routed back to sender. Which requires no human intervention.

Yes, I'm being anal about the ATF doing their required part which is to forward the approved documents to the transfee for their recordkeeping process.

Got approved form 4 email last night, 20 days from submitted to approved.

My first one without the kings $200 tariff, kinda nice!

Submitted for two on 1/23/26 and approved on 2/4/26. It took 12 days counting the weekends. In business days it was only 8 days. The process was much faster than I expected, but it probably helped that I'm already in the system. Still waiting on the 7 day CLEO hold, but should have them delivered by the end of next week.
Start to finish in under one month. Much better than the six months a local shop told us we would have to wait.

Submitted on 2/6 at 3:00 PM, approved yesterday the 12th.....6 days!!!

My dealer never got the approval email till this afternoon, called me at 3:30, and I raced right over & picked it up.

Currently have 7 more barrels at the smith's to get threaded.

That's what I thought too. In January a local shop told us that the backlog was 6 months, so I'm not complaining.

Just think of all the cans bought since the law passed that werejust sitting there waiting for Jan 1. Had to to be tens of thousands.

Paid for my last can on 1/22 and the stamp was approved on 2/20. Resilient, Simple Man.

Picked up another DDC Enticer yesterday. from the time I finished everything to the day they called me to come get it was 5-6 days.
