I do some traveling in between city's while at work and see places that may be a good stand. But usually there is a barbwire fence in the picture. And not knowing if the stand would be good or may be terrible. I usually never go try the new place out. Anyone hate climbing over fences as much as me. I have tried a few of the locations and am surprised how things look different driving a big truck then get out to the location and think I should have a shotgun rather than the 22-250. I grew up hunting and grandparents had a farm. Its not like I haven't clumb a fence as Grampa used to say. I am now at 50 and weigh 220 and don't hop over them like I use to. Crawl under now that is funny, I have my share cloths that have a tear in them cuz my old butt wasn't as low as I had thought. Anyway I have been thinking it would be neat having something made to assist climbing over. Heck something may be out their that I don't know about. Think this may work? I use to make ladders for tree stands out of 1" tubing how bout making a ladder say 50" tall with two steps. One 18" from bottom then another at 36 a top rail and a 2" piece of pipe welded at the top to slide over a T post and a stake in the bottom to keep from kicking out. Then I wouldn't have to worry about the wire slipping down while strattled. Am I thinking to much like a City boy gramps used that saying also. Anyway this could just be thrown in the back of the truck drive up to the location pull off jump over fence and give it a quick try. How bout some feedback
