So...some questions
What are you wanting to do with this rifle?
What are your average shots?
Any reason in particular for the small and low powered optic? similar money meaning 3-4 times the cost!!!
Nope...you are wrong...again. Then prove me wrong ! what cant beat $99.00 ????
I will only reply to the OP with information pertinent to the original topic. The Barska 1-4X28 is priced between $130-150 depending. There are goobs of good options in that price range, but I need more information from the OP on his intended uses.

Goe blow I want to see a picture with all your barska scopes lined up. I'm thinking you just liked getting pahntr760 and his crew stirred up so they come gang attack you.

If you look his little crew started this one I own two barska point black scopes a 3-12x40 and a 6-24x40 and one red dot.... the 6-24x40 is mounted on a Daniel Defense DDM4V5 with a Burris fast fire III red dot . used to place 1st place in rifle competition shooting.... Hmmmmm ! Cheap JUNK right !

I think it's more about getting a scope that won't fail on you at the critical time you need it. I don't care what people buy. I only care that I spend my money wisely. I will say it looks like a lot of people repeat statements instead of really having hands on. But I've found in the gun and scope area you get what you pay for. And I'd rather have fewer $400 scopes than a few boxes of $100 scopes. I'd rather have colt or s&w than crates of high points. Just my opinion. And it's worth what y'all paid for it. I ask myself if someone would want to buy it if I ever decide to sell. I like quality over quantity for the most part. It does seem that some cheaper brands hold up ok on air rifles I've heard. And they are harder on scopes than some center fire rifles I guess I hear. So it would be nice to see a cheap scope shootout someday. It might show up a few expensive brands though. So I doubt any gun magazine would do that to their money supporters. They don't do bad reviews as is.
May look at the Vortex Sparc 2. I just want something that going to hold zero if I came back and shot 3 months later.... $20 a trip adds up to the price of decent scope.
