Thinkin about pickin up a couple diphraghm howlers, I had a primos sonic dome howler awhile ago and I called a couple in with it. But I was thinkin about trying something different. I see some guys on here make some. Whats everyones experience with diaphragms? Anybody got any favorites?

A gentleman on here told me check out MFK calls. I liked their selection of mouth calls from adult to pup howler calls. I ordered the 2 reed pup howler/distress call from them and hope it works well for me.

I tried the primos and were good ..But I really like the MFK game calls...They have worked really well and the sound you can get out of them are great...I switched to diaphrams to keep my movement down on stands and it seems to be working. Give Torry a call and see what call he thinks will work best for the terrain that you hunt.... Good luck and let us know what kind of calls you decide on.

I have one from FoxPro and you can do anything on it. I don't know they name of it but it's RED and you can make a lot of noise with it. It's really good for howling.

Yeah sounds like a lot of guys really dig MFK, I was looking the site over earlier and the seem like a pretty solid product.

MFK..I have both the 2 reed and 3 reed. I like the way they sound to the point I don't use any howls on my FoxPro. You cant go wrong with them. They've also lasted pretty long.

I have a few MFK diaphrams as well and can do just about any sound out there. from howls to rabbit to bird to fawn.

I switched to the MFK competition Howler and it is awesome!!! There 2 reed pup howler id pretty awesome to.

I use the standard single & double reed turkey/elk reed call you can get locally and they make all the perfect sounds as well.

+1

I've started a collection of cheap turkey and elk diaphragms from clearance racks.

Give the MFK calls a try. You won't regret it. I'm pretty new to predator hunting but I recently bought a few and love them. Have called some in with them and feel really confident using them.
