The wildlife officials can say what they want, and will.In Oklahoma they say(they being game rangers)that Oklahoma does not have mountain lions,so one evening my neighbor called out the local ranger to ask him to identify this weird critter, that was living in a huge brush pile with two kittens. To make a long story short, the ranger left the scene walking backwards,it was a mother mountain lion with two kittens, and oh yeah one of which was very dark in color, almost black, and i believe was very black.A pigmentation problem must of been the blame, just like the albino deer living on our property, also we have a albino squirrel.I have personally seen four different mountain lions, one was on the swim beach at tall cheif cove on lake Skiatook.
