In the optics world, you truly do get what you pay for, and there are no free lunches. In the lower end of the price spectrum, you have to make sacrifices. There certainly are hidden jewels in the shallow end of the pool, but they don't include scopes with turrets, illumination, fancy reticles, or other doodads.

These cheap azz optic companies rely on uninformed comsumers that are scope shopping. They are looking at say a OK quality 3-9 at $200. Then they run across a 24x for the same jack..... no brainer. right? I'll by me some way more powerful shitz for the same jack. What they really get is some shitz period. End of story. Moral is: buy 3-9 range glass at the $250+ price point. And if you feel a need to have a hubble, then break out the CC because it's going to cost $500+ that to equal glass/build quality. It's real simple really.
