Butch's Bore Shine

Wipe-outs relative called patch out I have found to be much more convenient and works at least as good as wipeout.

I use the accelerator with it as well.

I used to use Butch's but if you're in a hurry, like shooting at the range and cleaning after every 10 or so shots, Sweets is far more aggressive and works a lot faster.

If I'm not in a big hurry I use Wipe Out. When I've been out hunting for a few days I put the rifle in the vise and squirt Wipe Out in the barrel and leave it overnight. In the morning I just run a couple of patches through and it's clean.

Get a nickel plated jag. When using a copper solvent a brass jag bleeds it's copper content and you'll never see a patch without some blue on it.

I stopped using brushes in my barrels quite some time ago.

Yes it is more aggressive and i only use it to check to see if i got barrel clean from useing other cleaners or if i have a barrel that fouls bad...
If you think youre brand of cleaner is getting the copper out then do the sweets test after you are done with youre favorite cleaner..
