catshooter banned?

Money, Sponsors, that's what keeps the interweb rolling.. Its amazing that a site with supposedly 48,000 + members can only get 55 folks to vote in a Hunter of the Month contest? But what do I know? Show a list to a prospective client "including the banned ones" of so-called members, and the number may seem quite large. Now if the client asked for " Active Members" he may get a different list. I dunno. It would even be interesting to know how much of the donated items to many different Websites actually make it to a raffle? This is in no way aimed at this website, but I am sure that it happens all of the time at websites with much less integrity.
FYI, out of 48,000+ member,s a whopping total of 534 are banned.

Thank you, Thank you so much for making a solid point. When the membership has an issue about the mods and admin of the site being overbearing, rude and condescending, you come in with the statement above simply proving the point. Belittling the members with comments of the same old story, very nice.
Do you think it would be the same old story if it wasn't the same old people were talking about. From the members stand point its the same old story too!

i can only imagine the numbers of emails back and forth between the mods these past few days. trying to figure out which ones of us to ban before the rest all jump ship.
only 500 some banned? how many of the 48k have not posted in the last 30 days? how many have less than 50 posts?
i believe that some of the mods just have personality conflicts with others and use their position to target them. i for one know that i can post a classified ad and get a pm stating that there is an issue with it in less than an hour!

Furhunter,,,,You are right on a couple of points...It's the same old whining, usually about the same old subjects, and with the same types of personalities displayed...This is a private site directed at, and for the purpose of, Predator Hunting, with numerous sub-forums, most added at the request of the members that have been to accommodate those wishes...
The Terms of Service apply to the site as a whole and the Administrative Staff and Moderators have specific assignments of responsibility on a volunteer basis and are not on here 24/7/365, so there are some incidents of which all of us are not aware, all of the time..
Any member that has a specific problem has the availability of contacting the Moderator of the assigned subject (shown under the forum subtitle) by private message and every attempt will be made to reach a resolution...We do tend to keep those private messages...
Everyone's opinion is welcome, but I should also note that opinions based on personal experience weigh slightly more than those that are based on emotional personalities..Negative attitudes tend to degrade the subject and are of little help to anyone..

if someone does not come back after 1 question, my guess is they were never going to stay around anyway! anyone with a modicum of intelligence can see after reading a few posts who knows of what they speak, and who does not. there are plenty of people on this forum ready to trash you if you do not agree with them. that category of people is NOT relegated soley to those that have been here a long time. there are plenty with 150 posts in 6 or 7 years that are happy to join in and tell you that you are a moron, but only after someone else does it first.
i recall a thread a few years back in which i asked a question, probably poorly worded, but one in which i was put down to no end. ridiculed, insulted, and if i recall correctly, threatened. i was even sent a pm by a moderator telling me that he did not believe i had posted anything to deserve what had been spewed. not one of those people was banned, and i would wager to say that not one of them was warned. some here are left to be arrogant pricks and some are banned, that division seems to be at the personal discretion of the mods.
