Has anyone used one on a caliber other than .22 I have one on my 10/22 and it works great. Thinking of putting an extra one on my 700 .308.

I bought a Center Point AR 22 model with the illuminated crosshairs scope for my son at Walmart for his 22 and the lighted crosshairs with mil dots is perfect for my eyes except for it‘s a little bright at night (on lowest setting) but not too bad, the glass isn’t that clear (compared to my Nikon Prostaff), but it's a $60 dollar scope and has held zero (I even put it on my shotgun, fired 10 rounds of 3 ½ magnums HD’s) which is impressive for such a cheap scope (so far).
It was by accident that I ran across this scope in the first place, but I've been impressed enough with the sturdiness and the 100's of reviews that I'm buying one of the higher end scopes (power class) which should be here today.
Who knows, it might be a good find or another useless product in the end.
You can do a Google search and see the reviews. You can also use the Predator Masters search engine as well.

Ya know, that scope does get a bunch of good reviews all over the net. I'm about half tempted to pick one up over at the Wally joint and run it through the wringer.
One thing about Wally, he always lets me take crap back for a full refund. Like wahoowad said, No questions asked!

I have one on my 204 an have never had a problem. My brother also had one on his 300 win mag with no complaints.

I received it today. However, I was sent the wrong model. I ordered the CP312RGC (illuminated reticle) and they sent the CP312AOC.
Anyway, I took some pics with a camera phone (poor quality pics) of it and with the 30MM tube, 44MM Objective lens, and compact size, it looks beefy so I’ll slap some Burris XTR Xtreme Tactical Rings on it (when I get the right model).
There is a big difference (glass) in the one sold at Wally world compared to the Power Class models.

Here is a pic of it (3-12X 44MM) on the left and My Nikon Monarch (3-9X40MM) 1” tube

I've been surfing the web and went to Leapers website.
Funny thing is a lot of their scopes looked like Center Points at a lower price.
Must buy from the same chinese rep...lol
The Leapers New 3-12x44mm has the side focus along with 36 color spec reticle, sun shade, flip caps, QD mounts, etc.......hmmmmmm wonder if center point will soon have the same model with the life time warranty???????????

Got it mounted, but had very limited time to actually try anything. So... just had to test it a little bit so I took 2 shells to the range.
1st shot was 4" left and 7" down, at least it was on paper. So, I adjusted the dials to accomodate and the 2nd shot hit 1" right and 1.5" low. So there was some positive adjustment, just not as much as I would have hoped. However, I will throw out that the sun was very bad coming into the scope and this could have very well been me..
Oh well... enough shooting. I then waited for dusk to hit to really look at the scope with the illuminated reticle as one would use it. Ok, the illumination of the reticle is not of the same quality I had with my Mueller, but on the lowest settings for either red or green it really wasn't half bad. It would be useable.
The power range ring is tight but turns smoothly. The cross-hairs were a snap to focus. And now I am also positive that the glass provides a better optical picture than my Pentax does (did)! This is through all magnifications. The supplied end-caps are much like the butler creek scope caps.
All in all for $75 out the door at Walmart, I may end up keeping this one in the arsenal. More real range testing to come..

Txcoondog, I picked up the same in Leapers from a member here last year for $75. Glass looks good, and I got the illuminated version for a carbine. Didn't need the side focus. My father picked up the new Leapers with the side focus and 36 color illumination. He mounted it on a Chiappa Ar-15 in .22LR. Don't know if he has gotten to shoot it yet.

I ordered the Leapers model with the 36 colors and side focus for $99 (free shipping) and I'm waiting for it to come in. Once I get it I will put it on my slug gun and see how she holds up first.
The glass on the center point model with the dual color illuminated reticle is just as clear as my Nikon Monarch and it has held zero (same test as the CP AR22) so I mounted it on my sons .223 (he's hard on optics). I really like that it's positive in adjustment, side focus, locking adjustment rings, etc and cost 1/3 of the Monarch.
However, My Nikon's have proven themselfs over the years so only time will tell how these two will hold up!

Well, got the Leapers 3-12x44 in and mounted today. Waiting for dusk so I can sight it in with the laser bore sighter (shell type). I’ll fire a few rounds to get her zeroed in and I’ll put it through the ringer for the next 30 days (100 degree days, night, etc).

Positive in adjustment (zeroed within 3 shots at 100 yds)

Illumination is fixed on 34 colors (can’t adjust brightness) which is to bright at night and shows up (light) on your face in total darkness. Green is still a little bright on low at night, but red (lowest setting) is about right at night. The push button control is nice and worked well.
Note: None of the illumination settings/colors are so bad/bright that it obstructed my veiw or clarity, but they did cast a shadow on my face. However, Red did not that my wife, son or I could see.

I have the cheap wally scope on my .300 mag. It has about thirty moa of elevation still and I kid you not I can dial out to 800 yards shoot for a bit then back to zero. Perfect every time. Disclaimer: I have the same scope on my .223 and although it holds zero, the clicks on it are not at all reliable.

The Center Point power class model glass is much better than the one sold at wally world and even the illumination is better, because it doesn’t have the lighted ring (only the crosshairs light up) ring around the perimeter of the crosshairs.
Yesterday evenings testing with the Leapers:
The focus adjustment is sweet and clear at 10 yards and beyond.
Using the quick detach rings that came with it- Took it off the mount, dropped it on the floor (carpet/5'), and placed it back, held zero.
Also set it at 50, 100, and 200 yards, changed (four times) one to the other, held zero.
So far so good!
PS: Was hoping to spend some time with it today but it’s raining hard right now which is ok because our lakes are 6-10 feet below normal levels.

I have a Leapers 3-12x44 (5 gen) with side focus, 36 color spec crosshairs and push button (EZ TAP) illumination. Both the Leapers and Center Point are identical except the Leaper's has the 36 colors, side focus, and push button and is priced lower. Sorry if I confused anyone
