Can't help ya Soup but I am still using an antique "Pro Chrony" from back in the archery tuning days to get a proximation .

Same here, the Athlon does look like a nice upgrade.

I have an old Pro Chrony myself but very seldom ever used it as it was such a PITA to set up. I shoot with a friend that has a Garmin. I always felt like a mooch borrowing his so when I got a little tax money back I decided to get my own. I could have got the Garmin but heard some good things about the Athlon and decided to be a little different from everyone else. Hoping I made the right choice.

I was up to Pennsylvania for an unsuccessful (AGAIN) coyote hunt Monday.
Mine was delivered after I left. Haven't opened it yet. The whole package is the size of my Oehler 35P printer.
Come on William we're all wait like a groom on his honeymoon!!

I'd love to go try it out but we've had gail force winds the last few days. Suppose to have rain tonite or maybe tomorrow. When the weather lets me get out you can bet I'll be trying out the new chrony.

I have 4 or 5 trips to the range w my Christmas present Athlon, very happy with it!

so I cranked up the HD slingshot, sent stuff out the back door to get some stats. It worked better than anticipated.
