coyote proper name

Never paged through the baby names book while trying to shoot a critter but I did frantically page through the Byzantine Game Regs book one time while sitting on a two track road. I was trying to find out if deer season was open on the side of the road where a dandy big 6x6 mulie(ey)(ee) mule deer was feeding 30 yards away. It wasn't until that night that I discovered the buck was a mile or two into legal territory on either side of the road. He walked away, glancing at me once in awhile as I paged back and forth between maps and dates and point restrictions etc. etc.
