Momma's PISSED!
A pair of coyotes came up the house this morning about 7:30 and helped themselves to breakfast while I was getting ready for work. The wife came in the bathroom yelling at me to my gun! But before I could get to the safe, the devils escaped without a shot.
So momma decides she wants a "ready to go" rifle available. (This ain't the first time the coyotes have raided the hen house.) And sometimes she's at home by herself and wants something that she feels comfortable shooting.
All of my hunting rifles are AR platforms, and they're a little too complex for her likings. So I'll be searching for a good bolt action. Something in .233, and preferable with a 1:8 or 1:9 twist. I shoot Hornady 53 and 55 gr. V-Max ammo through my AR's, so I would like to find something that likes the same pills.
While budget is not a primary concern, there's no need to break the bank on a rifle that will spend most of its life setting in the corner.
Any suggestions?
